Mindcasting, Communication Through the Internet

The world would be a better place if more focus was put on improving communication and increasing the number of conversations. Blogging is a way of mindcasting or in other words, sharing thoughts on the internet to start conversations.

The internet acts like a collective conscience; a social hub where people from around the world come together to share ideas and communicate. It is great because the only barrier is language, NOT geography, age, gender or distance. Instead individuals are judged on their idea.
The new social web lets people interact according to their ideas, no other bias need play a part. We can be equal if we can communicate.

What happens when the wrong groups of people connect? What happens when groups of murderers get together and talk? Bias? Unbalanced conversation?

Does the social web improve peoples ability to communicate?
